A caravan park in Norfolk has been awarded with one of the AA’s top camp site awards.
Norfolk’s Old Brick Kilns in Barney was presented with the award for Campsite of the Year for the Heart of England 2017 at the AA’s annual Caravan and Camping Awards 2017.
It is located between Fakenham and Holt and features 60 all weather semi-hard standing pitches for caravans and motor-homes and a meadow for tents. Kate Dyas and David Moore bought the park in 2014 and have made a number of significant improvements.
This has included refurbishing the on-site restaurant, upgrading many of the hardstandings, improving the drainage across the park, and developing the on-site shop.
Earlier this month the site was also voted as one of the top 100 sites in England for the second time in an annual list drawn up by Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazines.
