A Norfolk entrepreneur is cleaning up after starting his own company.
Nick Hewitt launched his window cleaning business last summer after being made redundant.
The decision to go it alone has paid off – Mr Hewitt has around 350 regular customers all over Norfolk and fits 60 to 65 jobs a week into his diary.
Most of his clients are domestic but he also serves commercial clients in Norwich.
'I am nearly full up now, business is fantastic, but I will fit people in if they come to me,' he said.
'It is mainly domestic but I have a few commercial jobs.'
Before launching his own business Mr Hewitt worked as a print manager at newspaper publisher Archant in Norwich, where he had worked for 20 years.
After leaving the company he decided on a change of career and purchased a mobile window cleaning van.
He received a start-up grant and business training from Broadland District Council.
