A new bistro-style restaurant is set to become the latest addition to Jarrolds in Norwich.

Called The Exchange, it will be situated on the lower ground floor of the department store and will serve an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu.

The centre piece of the new eatery will be a wood-fire pizza oven where customers will be able to choose from a range of bases and toppings including maple pulled pork and crab.

Other items on offer on the menu will include fresh pasta options, artisan sandwiches, seasonal soups and retro desserts.

The wine served in the bistro is to be overseen by Jarrolds wine expert and master of wine Nick Adams, with bottles also available from the deli wine shop.

An opening date for The Exchange has not be confirmed but work has begun on stripping out the old Metro Cafe as part of the development.
