A city centre Post Office opened its new branch today after moving out of a shopping centre.
The newly-named Norwich Crown Post Office opened in the WH Smith store, on St Stephens Street, after being in business for 20 years in the Castle Mall.
All 14 staff from the old branch have moved to the new ground floor store and services offered by the business remain the same.
The only change is it won't sell packaging for postage as that is sold in WH Smith.
John White, branch manager, said the staff were excited about the move and new customers had already been attracted to the business because of its relocation.
He said: 'The move was to generate more business for us and WH Smith. Customers are pleasantly surprised at how open the space is.'
