The deadline to have your say on the state of the tourism and leisure industry in East Anglia has been extended.

Business advisory firm Larking Gowen launched its 12th annual tourism and leisure business survey in January.

As well as assessing the health of the sector, this year’s survey hopes to provide a snapshot of business sentiment on subjects such as Brexit, minimum wage increases, and the wellbeing of staff, managers and owners.

Larking Gowen made a particular plea for more restaurants, pubs and other businesses serving food to get involved in the survey, due to the challenges such businesses are facing.

The company says recent figures showed many tourism, hospitality and leisure businesses finished 2017 on a high, reporting year-on-year growth in the final four months of up to 28%.

The survey will now close on Wednesday, March 7. To take part, go to www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/2018survey.
