Staff at King’s Lynn-based Bespak have donated their time, energy and creativity to raise £19,483 for Norfolk and Waveney cancer charity Big C in the past year.

The manufacturer of medical devices chose Big C as its chosen charity for 2017/18 after an employee vote.

Dr Chris Bushby, Big C chief executive, said “We are incredibly grateful to the team at Bespak for all their hard work and support over the past year. The funds they have raised will significantly benefit the lives of those local people affected by cancer.”

Some of the fundraising activities taken on by the Bespak team have included the Big C Steeplechase, Big C Sky Dive, Channel to Mediterranean Cycle Ride, £50 challenge and Wear It Pink Day.

Keyvan Djamarani, Bespak managing director said: “Raising the profile and awareness of what Big C does and can offer has been, and will continue to be, hugely beneficial to our employees.”
