The owner of a new eco-friendly cleaning company, who has opened a shop in north Norfolk, said she hopes their refill station encourages more people to reuse.
Bella Middleton, 34, was inspired to create a range of cleaning products, Norfolk Natural Living, which launched in August 2018, after having her three children.
And now the King's Lynn mother and businesswoman, who co-owns the brand with husband Hugo, 36, has celebrated opening the brand's first physical premises at Shirehall Plain, in Holt.
Mrs Middleton said: 'It started because I've got three little children and I was always really worried about what they were putting in their mouths.
'It made me think about making sure I was using natural products - things that clean and clean well but wouldn't kill them if they ended up eating it.'
The new shop, off Holt's High Street, was the next logical step for the couple, who also own the gift company Men's Society.
'The store was that next extension,' said Mrs Middleton.
'It's building that sense of community that's really important to us.'
And the premises will feature another eco-friendly twist, with an option to refill containers with products, aiming to encourage people to cut down on plastic use.
Mrs Middleton added: 'In the next couple of weeks we want to get the refill station in there to encourage people to reuse.
'We've always been really keen on being green and we're looking at making refill pouches as well.'
The products are manufactured by the couple at their unit in East Coast Business Park, King's Lynn.
The shop stocks a range of their natural products, including nonabrasive copper pan scourers, brightener and bleach-free denim washes and detergents, which avoid polluting the oceans, and rose-scented household cleaners made from vinegar, which Mrs Middleton described as 'magical'.
'Cleaning is something you do every day,' she added.
'It's bringing that sense of joy to it. You know it will be safe for your kids, and safe for your pets.
'I feel so passionate about it and want to make sure it's a real reflection of what we do.'
The shop, which opened to the public on Friday, February 22, will reflect the business' family ethos, and will be run by Mrs Middleton's mother, Felicity Ludgate.
It will open from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
Mrs Middleton said: 'Holt is such a lovely town and so unique with such a vibrant high street.
'We're a family business and it's the idea that she will be there if people have questions and help people understand the products.
'Lots of people came in and chatted and wanted to know more about us, and we sold some products which was really exciting.
'People get excited about something new.'
