A people management consultancy is holding a seminar to show businesses best practice and help them prevent costly claims.
The Human Capital Department, based in the King's Lynn Innovation Centre (KLIC), hopes to help businesses avoid employment tribunals, in anticipation of an expected surge in cases following the Supreme Court ruling in July that tribunal fees were illegal.
The firm will hold a lunchtime seminar, on Tuesday, November 14, with Human Capital Department's Peter Lawrence sharing best-practice tips while Gemma Miles of Stackhouse Poland will be outlining insurance options.
Rod Lee, director of Human Capital Department, said the first step was to fill out an HR health-check questionnaire, which flags up areas of concern or non-compliance.
