A Gorleston hydraulic equipment supplier has been bought by a national group.

Gee-Force Hydraulics, based on the Beacon Business Park, has been acquired by HTL Group, a business it had previously been in partnership with, for an undisclosed sum.

Gee-Force, which employs seven people, has been HTL’s rental and training partner for the South East and the company said the acquisition would mean it could offer more services and products.

HTL Group chief executive Stephen Jones said: “The acquisition combines our presence in Great Yarmouth, complementing and strengthening our strategic UK footprint.”

Gee-Force managing director Graeme Cook said: “Being part of the HTL Group dramatically enhances our offering to the East of England and wider South East marketplace, including a much greater extent of ‘made in the UK’ bolting equipment and we look forward to bringing this enhanced capability to both existing and new customers alike.”
