More than 80 employees in the Norwich office of business advisory firm Grant Thornton hit the city's street to solve a murder mystery trail in aid of a local charity.

The themed fundraising event for the Break GoGoHares initiative, led by a team of young Grant Thornton employees, raised £4,000 for the charity, which supports vulnerable children, young people and families.

As well as the murder mystery trail, with a story written and acted out by staff, the evening featured a fundraising auction.

The GoGoHares trail, launching on June 24, will see 50 large decorated hares placed around Norwich. Grant Thornton is sponsoring one of the hares, and held the murder mystery evening to raise extra funds.

Toby Wilson, director at Grant Thornton's Norwich office, said: 'The money raised is a credit to the passion our employees have for this charity and the fantastic commitment of all those who worked so hard to put together such a worthwhile event.'
