Website Glassdoor has cautioned its users to "exercise judgement" when reading reviews about BizClik Media.

It comes after this newspaper revealed in May that ex-staff at BizClik, which publishes business magazines, had complained to Glassdoor that the website had been "duped" into removing their negative reviews about the firm.

BizClik's chief executive Glen White denied the company had ever artificially inflated reviews.

He hit back by attacking Glassdoor this week on social media.

"Is anything that is posted on Glassdoor real?" he wrote.

In response to his post Glassdoor said: "We moderate all content before it's posted to ensure it meets our guidelines."
