An East Anglian poultry producer has launched a new range of pre-prepared products as part of a company growth plan.

Gressingham Foods already has the new products, duck with orange and maple and duck with honey and hoisin, on the shelves in more than 200 Waitrose stores under the brand Bistro by Gressingham.

Other products include culinary classics duck breasts in plum and duck a l’orange.

The introduction of the Bistro range is part of efforts to bring another 750,000 households into Gressingham Foods’ market in the next three years.

William Buchanan, joint managing director, said: “We know consumers enjoy duck products but for some, there is still apprehension about cooking from scratch.

“We are constantly innovating and evolving our range to tackle these barriers, and our new Bistro range is a significant move to attract new shoppers to the category.”
