Vintage farm vehicles and heavy horses will be on show at a charity ploughing match and tractor working day being held this weekend.

The event, which is raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, will take place from 10am to 4pm on Sunday February 25 at Roydon Hall Farm at Roydon, outside King’s Lynn.

Ploughing classes include novice, classic, horticultural, international, vintage mounted, vintage trailed, and traditional horse-drawn teams.

Organiser Emma Stephenson said: “At the moment I have had 50 entries of tractors, mostly vintage, and two heavy horse teams. I hope that the public will also attend and have a look at this skilled competition. Last year, there were 48 entries and the event managed to raise £1,100 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.”

The venue can be found using postcode PE32 1FE. The field is alongside the A148, one-and-a-half miles from the Knights Hill roundabout, heading towards Fakenham.
