Breckland farmers Ian and Brian Robertson will be making a 4am start tomorrow to back the British Tractor Challenge 2006 in Wiltshire.

The brothers, of Green Farm, Thompson, near Watton, are taking their two John Deere tractors and sub-soilers to support an attempt on the Guinness World Records to have 2006 working machines in the same field.

The last tractor challenge in 2003 attracted 770 entries but the organisers are hoping to do even better tomorrow at Hullavington.

Stuart Baxter, of NatWest, has sponsored the fuel for the day trip, and the brothers plan to return later tomorrow afternoon.

The organisers are attempting to have 2006 working tractors moving at the same time in the same field, which has never been done before.
