A currency exchange has opened a new branch in a Norfolk market town – creating five jobs in the process.

Eurochange has opened a shop in King's Lynn's Vancouver Quarter shopping centre, its 153 site in the UK and third in the county with two in Norwich.

Giles Custerson, managing director at Eurochange, said: 'It's fantastic to open our first branch in King's Lynn and we're delighted to provide a valuable foreign exchange service for its residents and visitors alike, as well as creating new local jobs in the process.'

Eurochange's Norwich branches are in Chapelfield and Castle Mall shopping centres.

Since its acquisition by NoteMachine in 2014, Eurochange has seen an average of 30 new branches open every year, including the expansion of their network in Scotland and Wales.

It was founded by Massimo Gini in 1975.
