A Norfolk MP found out about the positive effect Brexit is having on international business for a company in her constituency.

Elizabeth Truss, member for South West Norfolk, visited Johnston Logistics in Snetterton to discover why
more international companies have made approaches since the Brexit vote.

The firm offers warehousing and logistics services on its 130-acre site and counts Amazon among its customers.

She said: “It is great to see a strong local business already benefitting from Brexit. More international businesses are looking to Johnston’s to help them establish a dedicated UK hub for their products.”

Director Rob McIndoe said: “Though it will present challenges, we’ve experienced a boost from both Brexit and the change in UK consumers’ behaviour.”

The company is also investing to improve its ecommerce services in answer to consumer demand.
