Suffolk Housing has appointed a new chief executive.

Adrian Barber has 30 years' experience in the housing sector and takes the reins at the housing association after 13 years specialising in consultancy work. He will work with Suffolk Housing on an interim basis, initially for one year.

He said he would like to explore more uses of technology within the company.

'I have always enjoyed helping organisations to make positive changes and hope to continue that trend at Suffolk Housing,' he said.

Norwich law firm Hatch Brenner has welcomed a new trainee.

Alexandria Martin is on a two-year trainee contract and will spend her first six months working with the Theatre Street firm's dispute resolution team.

The Liverpool John Moores University law graduate will work with experienced lawyers in areas including personal injury and employment disputes.

Hatch Brenner partner and head of the dispute resolution team Colin Cook said: 'We are all thrilled to welcome Alexandria to the firm and to Norwich.'

Leathes Prior in Norwich has taken on two new trainee solicitors.

Anneke Micallef-Eynaud graduated from Durham University in 2015 and has since completed her graduate diploma in law and legal practice course (LPC). She is trilingual, fluent in English, German and Maltese.

Myles Chingara studied law in Lincoln then a Masters in international business law at Kings College London. He completed his LPC in Cambridge this year.

Dan Chapman, partner and training principle at Leathes Prior, said: 'We have very high hopes for the two of them.'
