A high-flying Norfolk entrepreneur with offices in two of the world’s biggest business centres is returning home to open her next premises.

Kymberlee Jay, founder of animation business DoodleDirect, has decided to open her company’s third office in her home town of Downham Market. Founded four years ago, the £250,000-turnover company makes animated videos for businesses around the world and already has offices in New York and London.

Its new office in Lynn Road will officially open on July 1. As part of the move the company has also hired new local staff, to be based in Downham Market.

Ms Jay said: “As the business grew, we felt a need to have a base in London. As our reputation has developed it has become clear to me that it is the quality of our work, not our proximity to the Central Line, that keep our clients coming back again and again, hence we can afford to expand.”
