An East Anglian technology firm has been presented with its second Queen's Award for Enterprise.

Syne qua non (SQN) won the award in the innovation category for its Syne-clin technology, which is used in the management and reporting of human clinical trials. It was one of 57 firms nationally to receive the innovation award in 2017.

The company, which employs almost 90 staff at its offices on Diss Business Park, was previously recognised with a Queen's Award in 2009, in the international trade category.

Its second award was presented by Richard Jewson, Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk.

Tony Rees, SQN director, said: 'This recognises the achievements of our dedicated team of staff, SQN's commitment to innovation, technical development, and providing our customers with exceptional clinical development services to help them improve the efficiency of their clinical development process.'
