A renewable energy expert has joined the board of New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).

Johnathan Reynolds, director of energy consultancy group Nautilus Associates in Lowestoft, is currently a member of the organisation's innovation board leading on the energy sector.

He is also the business development lead for OrbisEnergy, a regional innovation hub for offshore renewable energy managed by enterprise agency Nwes.

Prior to joining the Nautilus team, Mr Reynolds held senior positions at the East of England Development Agency and the East of England Energy Group.

Doug Field, chairman of New Anglia LEP, said: "Energy is one of the key sectors in the Norfolk and Suffolk Economic Strategy and provides huge opportunities for future growth and expansion.
