An East Anglian security company has sealed a contract to work with one of the world's most prestigious universities.
Dardan Security will provide 24/7 services for the University of Cambridge's data centre up until 2020.
The company, which has an office in John Hyrne Way in Norwich, already provides similar services to universities including Anglia Ruskin University and the University of Suffolk.
Philip Anthony, managing director of Dardan Security, said: 'Dardan is delighted to have been awarded this significant contract.
'Our expertise in this field, together with our specialist teams and regional operational coverage makes us the ideal partner for the university and will ensure a high-quality and effective security service is delivered to such a crucial facility.'
Dardan Security employs 450 people across the UK and has offices across the region including in Ipswich, Norwich and Gorleston.
