This weekend sees the seventh annual Norwich Pride. Each year, thus far, the event, which celebrates the city's LGBT community, seems to grow in scale.
Vice-chairman and stall manager Poppy Rose said: 'I love to see Norwich light up like a rainbow, the smiles on people's faces, young and old alike.
'I especially like Norwich Pride because everyone gets involved. Even the police, who always have a stall at the Forum, get into the party spirit.'
After winning a competition earlier this year, Andy Futter created a new logo for the Norwich Pride organisation.
He said: 'I was absolutely over the moon, and following the submission of a portfolio of work, being selected to be the overall graphic designer for Pride has been the icing on the cake.'
He added: 'For me Norwich Pride is all about celebrating Norwich's LGBT community, remembering those who have gone before us, who lived in less enlightened times; and welcoming everyone – friends, partners, families and strangers, to enjoy a lively, positive life-affirming day together.'
Deanna Allison, Norwich Pride's official filmmaker has been involved with the event since the beginning.
She said: 'I started as a steward in 2009, then begun filming the event in 2010.
'I've been involved in lots of Pride activities over the years, and in 2012 I was incredibly proud to be chair.
'When I see people happy and proud to be themselves, marching with pride through our beautiful city, then I know we've achieved something wonderful together.'
