A brewery is raising a glass in celebration after securing a string of new contracts which will see it hit more than 800 stores.

Suffolk-based brewer St Peter's Brewery has agreed deals which have seen its golden ale gain a national listing with 870 Iceland stores, as well as a contract to supply leading pub group Mitchell & Butler, which operates 1700 pub and restaurant chains across the UK.

Alongside these two deals are also contracts to supply Molson Coors Free Trade and two national wholesale contracts with HB Clark and ASD Wholesale.

Chief executive Steve Magnall said: 'Our Golden Ale has always been popular, but we are getting more interest in it than ever before and these contracts should cement its future.

'Iceland has stores all over the UK, and a broad spectrum of customers, so it will really raise the profile of our brand.'

Mitchell & Butler owns brands such as All Bar One.
