One of the region's largest employers has taken further steps to support its workers' health by launching a 'wellbeing village'.

It is the latest part of insurance group Aviva's wellbeing drive and has seen the opening of rooms for counselling, music, massage, relaxation and exercise.

Former Norwich City footballer Cedric Anselin, who has spoken of his own battles with depression, was on hand to officially open the facilities and there was free fruit and demonstrations for staff.

Mr Anselin said: 'It is very important for people at work to be able to feel happiness but if they don't and have a bad day they are able to come to these unbelievable facilities that Aviva have created here.'

Emma Armes, one of the company's health heroes who helped put the project together, said: 'We have brought wellbeing to people so that it is as easy as possible for them come along and have a massage, exercise or chill out.'
