Insurance giant Aviva has renewed its sponsorship of Premiership Rugby for another season.

The extension, which runs until the end of the 2017-18 season, will mark Aviva’s eighth year as a partner of England’s elite domestic rugby competition.

The title sponsorship runs from August 2017 through to June 2018, and will feature at 135 games, watched by millions of people at stadiums across the country and on BT Sport.

The deal allows Aviva to continue its Tackling Numbers programme, which uses rugby to make learning about numbers fun for seven to nine year olds and is supported by the 12 Premiership rugby clubs.

Aviva’s retail marketing director Tom Daniell said: “After a thrilling end to last season and a great summer of rugby, were incredibly excited to be extending our partnership with Premiership Rugby until the end of the 2017-18 season.”
