Mabel lived in the old East Coast Dairies house close to the seafront, where Miss Daniels lives.

Phrases she used include load of old squit, hold yew hard, you are getting on my wick, cor blast and bishy barnabee, meaning ladybird.

These will be put on mugs, coasters and greetings cards and sold through the Norfolk Day shop.

Miss Daniels, who studied fashion at Middlesex University, said: “They are familiar phrases. They make people laugh and smile. They are dying out and we need to keep them alive. I grew up in Norfolk and I think it is beautiful. People here are quirky and funny.”
