A potato processor has raised more than £4,000 for a national campaign through a clay pigeon shoot.

Albert Bartlett's Westwick team organised the event, which was in aid of Sport Relief 2018, at Crow Hall Farm, near Gooderstone.

More than 140 competitors took part on the day and the event raised £4,200.

An inter-company competition was held with teams from other Albert Bartlett sites at Boston, Chatteris and head office Airdrie but it was the home team which ran out winners.

Workers at the Westwick site have further plans to fundraise for the campaign, which runs until March 23, including a sponsored walk.

Albert Bartlett is a sponsor of Sport Relief 2018. The campaign encourages people to fundraise through sporting activities with the money going to pay for malaria medication and maternal and neonatal support in Africa as well as treatment for people living with a mental health problem in the UK.
