Highly-rated bands Deus, I am Kloot, Guillemots and Black Kids have also been added to the bill.
Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand are headlining this year's event, playing on Friday night at the Obelisk Area, while Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Ros, Elbow, The Breeders, Interpol, Julian Cope and Martha Wainwright are also on the bill.
The event also features top names from the worlds of comedy, literature, poetry and art.
