Senior politicians will be heading for Norwich tomorrow as the BBC's Question Time films its latest programme in the city.

And a controversial German carnival float caricature of prime minister Theresa May will also be in the city to greet them.

The panel on the current affairs discussion programme for its Norwich visit will include Conservative international development secretary Priti Patel, Labour's shadow education secretary Angela Rayner, Liberal Democrat and former business secretary Vince Cable and Green Party co-leader Jonathan Bartley.

Completing the panel is Charles Moore, former Daily Telegraph editor and official Margaret Thatcher biographer.

The programme, presented by David Dimbleby, will be filmed at The Open venue in Norwich's Bank Plain. It will be screened on BBC One at 10.45pm tomorrow.

However, to highlight how 60pc of people in Norwich South voted to remain in the European Union referendum, a float which has been in Germany and Westminster will also be bound for the city.

The satirical Exit from Brexit float, showing the prime minister with a gun, labelled Brexit, in her mouth, was made for a carnival in Dusseldorf.

But Peter French, founder of Unite for Europe, which organised the London Brexit protest march earlier this year, has brought the float to the UK and will be sending it to Norwich tomorrow, where it will be out in the streets from 5pm.

Supporters and members of the pro-EU Facebook group Norwich and Norfolk Stays will also be on the streets of the city, while the Norfolk People's Assembly are also intending to 'welcome' the panel members to the city.

Meanwhile, for politics with a more local flavour, there is plenty coming up on Mustard TV.

The This Week programme at 6.30pm tonight focuses on the youth vote, with young supporters of Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats and the Greens discussing what parties can do to reach younger voters.

Next Wednesday, also at 6.30pm, the spotlight on This Week will fall on the North Norfolk constituency, with candidates Stephen Burke (Labour), Norman Lamb (Liberal Democrat) and James Wild (Conservative) on the programme.

And on June 2, Mustard TV will be hosting Facebook Live debates focusing on Norwich North and South. They will be broadcast on Mustard TV on June 5, 6 and 7.

Mustard TV is on Freeview channel 7 / Virgin 159 and catch up in full on the Youtube channel Norfolk Now.
