Wroxham boss Pawel Guziejko admits he must take responsibility for Wroxham's current league situation as they prepare to host Burnham Ramblers.

The Yachtsmen have failed to win in 11 attempts in the league, leaving them seven points from safety with just three games to play in what is looking like an impossible task to avoid the drop.

And Guziejko understands that the buck ultimately stops with him for his side's ever-increasing plight in Ryman Division One North.

'I have to take the responsibility of the recent results and where we are on the chin as I am the manager,' he said.

'Football is about results and I know you are judged on that. Our current situation is a difficult one; everybody knows that but I am the last one that wants to give up. The boys have been fantastic in the last couple of games and we are all in this together. They are all behind me, I have their full support and we will try and move forward from this situation together.'

There is the potential for Wroxham to be confirmed as mathematically relegated come the final whistle this afternoon, although an opportunity for a reprieve with a lack of Ryman League applications from clubs below them may provide Guziejko and his men with a light at the end of the tunnel.

'Obviously I want to stay in the league in the normal way and there is still a chance for us to do that, be it a very difficult one,' he said.

'But it we were to stay up through not enough teams applying below, everybody in the club would be happy of course.

'However, I wouldn't be looking at it as a good thing as I think we have the quality in the squad to stay in the league in the proper way, but should that not be the case and we have to rely on others, then we will take it.'
