It was League Cup week in the Norfolk Women's and Girls League.
Bungay Town Ladies were the big winners as they beat Wymondham Town Ladies Reserves in the second round of the League Cup 6-1. Sam Walker and Emily Leach both scored hat-tricks to ensure the current League Cup holders cruised through to the third round. Stalham Town Ladies advanced into the next round thanks to a 3-1 win at North Walsham Ladies. Sophie Lubbock, Amber Mayhew and Marie Meale got the goals for Town whilst Hannah Sturman was on target for the Angels.
Fakenham Town Ladies eased through courtesy of an 8-0 victory at home over Aylsham Ladies. Sam King (four), Rochelle Woods (two), Selina Goodrum and Jennifer Codman got the goals for the Ghosts.
In the seven-a-side competition Red Rose Ladies won 3-2 at Briston Wanderers Ladies. Stacey High and Natasha Wilmott were on target for Briston.
