Norwich United travel to Tilbury today looking to avenge the 2-1 defeat they suffered in the reverse fixture in October.

The Planters sit one point and two places above the Dockers and have lost just once in their last eight games.

Steve Eastaugh's men will be looking to improve on their last two performances, though.

Last Saturday saw them held at home by bottom side Great Wakering Rovers, just the third draw of the season, before they edged past Anglian Combination Premier Division side Long Stratton in the Norfolk Senior Cup on Tuesday, with Sam Watts' second-half goal putting them into the semi-finals.

Today's opponents have slipped down the table in recent weeks with just one win in their last nine games, that a 3-2 victory over Wroxham in early January.

Since then three straight draws were followed by a 6-1 defeat at titl-chasing Thurrock where the Dockers found themselves 4-0 down at half-time.

The Planters should be close to full strength this afternoon with Andy Eastaugh, after suspension, and Lee Mason, injury, both returning to the team on Tuesday night in the win over Long Stratton.

Wroxham know nothing less than three points will suffice when they entertain Waltham Abbey. Having seen a midweek trip to fellow strugglers Brentwood Town washed out, the Yachtsmen face another of the teams they need to chase down to get out of the relegation zone.

Damian Hilton's side are 10 points behind Waltham and eight behind Brentwood, but they have a game in hand on both the sides immediately above them and would have some cause for optimism if they could sneak a win today.

Wroxham lost 3-1 at Cheshunt last week, but before that took four points from home games against Thamesmead and Witham to suggest they might yet get themselves out of trouble.

Mid-table Dereham travel to south west London to take on VCD United, who are four places and seven points below them in the table.

Matt Henman's side will be hoping a sequence of following up a defeat with a win is extended, having conceded a late goal to lose 2-1 at home to Haringey Borough last weekend.
