Young speedway fans are being given the chance to get involved with King's Lynn legend Tomas Topinka's farewell meeting.
The Stars legend, who spent most his career riding for the Norfolk Arena club, will say goodbye to the sport in a special meeting at Saddlebow Road on March 8. It is hoped that 14 riders will compete at the Czech Republic fans' favourites event and mascots are wanted to accompany each competitor out onto the track.
One adult and parent/guardian – who will also get a photograph with Topinka and another rider of their choice - can gain entry to showcase meeting for £50.
The mascot will walk out on parade with their chosen rider and stand with them during the parade. Places will be offered on a first come first served basis and are limited to 14.
World number two, and ex-Stars ace Nicki Pedersen, plus new Lynn rider Rory Schlein are already confirmed as part of the line-up. Other names are set to be announced in the coming weeks. For further information e-mail debbielyon@uwclub.net
