Wednesday afternoon's meeting at Fakenham has been abandoned following a 7am inspection of the north Norfolk course.
Clerk of the course David Hunter reported that snow had fallen at the track overnight and he did not expect the ground to become raceable once the snow had melted.
'I'm afraid we won't be racing today,' he said.
'We had five centimetres of snow and while we feel that will melt, there are just too many areas of false ground on the course, and melting snow will only make that worse.'
The next scheduled meeting at Fakenham is on Friday week – February 16 – with a seven-race card scheduled to get under way at 1.40pm.
That meeting features the Tim Barclay Memorial Handicap Chase, the British EBF National Hunt Novice Hurdle, The Lycetts Insurance Novice Chase and the William Bulwer Long Memorial Hunters' Chase.
