A bid to build 90 new homes in a Norfolk village has been unveiled.
The planning papers submitted to Breckland District Council this week by EJW Planning state that most of the houses would be two storeys but a small number of bungalows would also be included.
The development will include one and two bedroom homes aimed at first time buyers and three and four bedroom family homes.
If approved, they would be built at a site north of Chapel Street and behind the former Waggon and Horses pub and Central Garage.
The homes are part of a wider plan for the village, which was originally proposed in 2013. It states that in addition to new homes there would be development of a new doctor's surgery, play area and retail area.
Villagers have been deeply opposed to retail development and fear a new store could put the local post office out of business.
