The Norfolk campus of Easton and Otley College helped promote the environment and wildlife to hundreds of visitors last weekend as the Easton campus played host to Wild About Norfolk.

Originally set up by the RSPB and the Wymondham Norfolk Wildlife Trust in the year 2000, Wild About Norfolk has taken place at the college for the last seven years.

Visitors took part in a variety of different activities including walks and talks, badge making, puppet making and pond dipping.

Manager for the land-based department, Martyn Davey, said, 'The whole event was great for us and many others. It attracted lots of conservation, wildlife and charity stands that were able to promote themselves and environmental issues generally.

'Ultimately the aim of this event was for people of all ages to have fun and learn more about the wildlife around them. We would like to thank everyone for coming along and getting involved.'
