Harrison Baldry, who lives in Worlingham, has been on the waiting list to be a mascot for his beloved West Ham United since the age of 4.

So when Harrison’s father Mark was contacted by The Hammers in January with the news that his time had finally come around, the youngster was over the moon.

Amy, Harrison’s mother, said: “Football is Harrison’s life and he’s been waiting so long for this.

“He was lucky enough to play on the pitch with the other mascots and, when it came to the match, his little brother Jenson was so excited to see Harrison on the pitch and the screen.

“He would have liked to walk out with Mark Noble or Manuel Lanzini, but he was chosen by Michail Antonio, who tied Harrison’s laces and constantly chatted to him.”

Fortunately, Harrison’s big day was capped off by West Ham beating Watford 2-0.
