Parts of Norfolk woke up to snow showers today as temperatures plummeted.
Forecasters had predicted a cold snap would hit the region and, sure enough, thermometers were struggling to get much above 0C this morning.
There were a few brief snow showers in parts of the county, including Norwich and Dereham, with the clouds then heading towards Great Yarmouth.
The Met Office said as the day went on, there could be sleet or hail, with a risk of thunder. Temperatures are unlikely to climb above 10C.
Tonight it is likely to be breezy in the east, with further showers, occasionally heavy and wintry, with temperatures once again dropping to 0C.
Tomorrow is likely to also be cold, with showers in the east, again, potentially heavy and thundery.
Looking further ahead - towards the bank holiday weekend, the Met Office forecasts a bright start on Thursday with patchy rain later, but mainly dry and bright.
On Friday and Saturday, there should be pleasant sunny spells, but also some scattered showers. But it will be becoming warmer, with frost less widespread.
It is a far cry from the heatwave as temperatures soared at the beginning of the month to 22C, with severe weather warnings in place for parts of Scotland.
