For most, the Royal Norfolk Show is a celebration of our county's agriculture - a two-day extravaganza packed with family fun and exciting entertainment.
But for some, the prestigious event is a chance to pull out their finery and don their gladrags.
Every year, a sea of prints, colours, and styles - ranging from the elegantly understated to the luxuriously extravagant - descend upon the Norfolk Showground to impress friends and family - as well as the wandering fashion scouts.
And today is no exception, with the best-dressed at the show proving that our county has what it takes in the fashion stakes.
Monochrome and fuchsia topped the looks for women, while striped shirts and ties in shades of pink were popular looks among the men.
Jo Allen, an image consultant from Great Ellingham, wore a floral lime green and blue shift dress from Nicholson's in Holt, teamed with a lime green cardigan and royal blue fascinator.
She said: 'I think florals are always on trend - there's also lots of black and white about. There are things you can bring back every year.'
Following what seems to be the popular choice this year, Mrs Allen, 50, opted to wear low shoes rather than sky-high heels.
'If I've got to wear something for 12 hours then it needs to be comfortable,' she said.
The fight between fascinators and hats was an equal one, with fascinators edging it slightly.
Liz Olorenshaw, from Norwich, has been coming to the show for more than 40 years - and described it as the highlight of her year.
The 80-year-old opted for a fuchsia jacket with a Jarrold dress in a blue and fuschia print.
'I'm in to this particular colour this year and the top half went with the bottom bit so it was a happy choice,' she added.
Vintage was popular at this year's show, with 23-year-old Laura Porter, from Norwich, wearing a belted 1950s dress donated by her mother and shoes from her boyfriend's mother.
Meanwhile, Frances Mobb, from South Walsham, upcycled the dress she had previously worn to her daughter's wedding.
Mrs Mobb, 57, said that the pale blue, Frank Usher two-piece was a classic - but added that she would be opting for a more casual style tomorrow.
For model and agricultural student Aurora Cotton-McKean, the Royal Norfolk Show was a chance to combine her two loves.
The 20-year-old, from Salhouse, opted for a textured look, with a cream boucle Zara jacket, white Ossie Clark dress, tan Gabor sandals and large black hat from Phase 8 as her 'statement piece'.
Miss Cotton-McKean plans to study food production and supply management at the Royal Agricultural College.
