He dedicated his spare time to the football club and fans he loved.

A much-loved and well-known face around Norwich City Football Club's Carrow Road stadium, Nick Raven passed away Saturday morning after a brain haemorrhage.

And over the course of the weekend tributes have been made to Mr Raven, who died aged 55.

He was best known for his tireless work in organising his own Norwich City FC bus service, for fans, travelling to away games all across the country with the help of Eastons Coaches.

A regular travelling supporter on the Eastons Coaches service, Adam Darricott, said: 'Nick was an amazing man- always smiling, laughing, patient and funny.

'The bus would always leave the depot a couple of hours before the club canary coaches and this would mean a wonderful couple of hours at a pub or restaurant halfway to the various stadiums in wonderful towns across England- this is where the saying 'team Eastons' really took off.'

A football fan through and through, Nick Raven successfully managed a variety of Norfolk based non-league teams including Briston Football Club.

Following local football commitments he established 'team Eastons' around eight years ago, beginning with one bus but due to popular demand the service frequently required further buses to be booked.

'His idea, his achievement, he was remarkable. He worked tirelessly at building this fantastic opportunity for fans to enjoy a different away day experience.

'Nobody would put as much time and effort into helping fellow fans watch their team all around the country. He was for me a real 'Mr Norwich City' and a great friend and a true gentleman,' said Mr Darricott.

Mr Raven will be survived by his wife Wendy, children, Jamie, Darcy, Daniel and Sophie, his only sister Pam, parents Sylvia and Jimmy as well as his ten grandchildren.

Darcy Raven added: 'My dad was the most amazing man on this planet- he would do anything for anyone, apart from cut his grass what he got his dad to do, and always had a massive smile on his face.

'His love for Norwich was massive and his love for his family was even bigger, people say I'm like him and that I will carry on the memory of my dad which makes me really happy because he was so amazing. Sleep tight dad, love you always.'
