The firework extravaganza, organised by Watton Town Council, took place at the Wayland Showground.

Hundreds of adults and children from across Norfolk and Suffolk flocked to the event for an evening of entertainment.

Grays Fun Fair provided rides for all ages including dodgems, waltzers and a 'crazy house', and local organisations were dishing up hot food and drinks to visitors.

The event saw two fireworks displays – a small show for children and a larger final display from Titanium Fireworks.

Local groups including the Watton air and army cadets, the fire service, Scouts, Inner Wheel and Rotary Clubs and the Museum4Watton group and Watton Agricultural Society lent a hand to the organisers.

After the evening's success the town council is planning to hold another fireworks display next year.
