A milkshake bar in Norwich has closed unexpectedly.
Shakeaway, located at 7-9 Orford Place, announced on Facebook that it would cease trading until further notice due to high rent costs.
The shop, which specialises in milkshakes and desserts, opened in the city centre in December 2016.
A spokesman for Shakeaway said: 'To all our amazing and lovely customers, we are sad to announce that due to high rents we can no longer continue to trade, it is therefore we regret that our store will be closed until further notice.
'We would like to thank you all for your support, you have been fantastic and we hope to see you once Shakeaway has secured a new location.'
They added: 'We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.'
Since closure, a notice has been posted outside the store informing the company they have 14 days to arrange collection of goods or else they will be sold as necessary.
UPDATE: Shakeaway say they have found a new premises in the city and will be releasing updates on social media when they can.
