Members of the American rock band Rival Sons were forced to stop their Norwich gig after two songs when their singer felt too ill to carry on.
The event at the University of East Anglia on Tuesday night is set to be rescheduled - and a statement on the band's website said it was hoped the new date would be announced by the end of this week.
People who attended Tuesday's gig are being advised to keep their ticket stubs which will be valid for the rescheduled show.
The band's guitarist Scott Holiday said: 'We couldn't be more disappointed with the recent show's outcome. This is the first time we have ever had to do this..and we offer our extreme apologies to all that attended and scheduled for this cancelled show. Jay [Buchanan] was at an extreme deficit ..just not well.. and was completely and wholly unable to continue- or he/we would have. All we can say to this point for sure is- we are already working on the reschedule date ..and promise to make it up to you, Norwich.'
The Norwich gig was the last show of Rival Sons' current 30-date European tour. The band has also announced another 23 European dates in March and April 2015.
