Passengers faced delays at Ipswich Railway Station this morning due to a fault with a signalling system.
According to the Greater Anglia Twitter account, all lines were blocked because of a fault in a the system, known as a Track Circuit Failure.
Train services running through Ipswich were delayed by up to 20 minutes.
However, at 9.30pm this morning, Greater Anglia confirmed that disruption to services had ended.
A spokesman said: 'Advance purchase ticket holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if your booked service is cancelled.'
