Pop superstars Take That have waved a fond farewell to Norwich after wowing about 60,000 fans with their Wonderland tour.
Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald performed to a sold out crowd at Carrow Road tonight after also welcoming fans to their colourful world of Wonderland at the venue on Thursday.
For more stories about Take That click herePerforming their greatest hits mixed in with tracks from the Wonderland album, they delighted audiences with a kaleidoscope of show-stopping spectacle, with everything from a magical aerial carousel to a stunning waterfall featuring in the show.
As they sung Rule the World, the final song of their debut visit to our fine city, the lights on people's phones transformed Carrow Road into a starlit sky while fireworks burst from the stadium's rooftop - an amazing end to Take That's phenomenal two-day residency at Norwich City Football Club.
On both days fans had queued for hours to secure the best spots in the stadium, with about 20 people camping outside nearby on Thursday night to make sure they were first in the queue for the final Norwich show.
Among the fans in today's queues were sisters Paula Pettitt and Tracey Ellis, from Bury St Edmunds, and Tracey's daughters Amy and Lottie. They started queuing at about midday and were wearing colourful flowers in keeping with the Wonderland theme. Paula and Tracey have been to almost every Take That tour and were excited to see Wonderland for the first time.
'There's no show like a Take That show, it's like a West End show and gig mixed together,' said Ms Pettitt.
Joining them in queue was Lisa Scantlebury, from Norwich, who had donned a garland of flowers. Together they led a sing song of Take That's The Greatest Day.
Stacey Mottershaw, from Lakenham, was looking forward to watching Wonderland for the third time . Her dad Kevin Mottershaw joined her for tonight's show. She said: 'It's an amazing show. Rule the World is my favourite part when you see all the beautiful lights.'
Friends Nicola Ashmore and Kelly Peters, from Wymondham, also attended. Ms Ashmore said: 'I'm really excited because they have come to our home city. We could not quite believe such a big band as Take That would come to Norwich.'
