Norwich North MP Chloe Smith, whose six month maternity leave comes to an end tomorrow, will take questions from readers next week.

The Conservative said she was looking forward to getting 'stuck back in' after having her first child in September.

Ms Smith said she knew there would be 'plenty of juggling ahead', but she was passionate about her job and excited to continue with her work representing Norwich North both locally and in Westminster.

Ms Smith and her husband Sandy agreed they would take six months shared parental leave each. There are no official maternity and paternity guidelines for MPs.

Ms Smith, who handed over day-to-day work to her constituency office and neighbouring MP Keith Simpson while she was off, did return to vote for the bill to give the prime minister the power to trigger Article 50 and start Britain's exit from the European Union. She attracted headlines after taking her baby boy into the House of Commons chamber while MPs were voting.

Ms Smith will be working in the constituency until parliament returns after Easter, starting with a Saturday morning canvassing session. Ms Smith said her Norwich For Jobs Project and her Social Mobility Project would be her priority on her return.

She will be holding a 'Super Surgery' with Lorne Green, Norfolk's Police and Crime Commissioner, and John Fisher, Broadland District Councillor, at Tesco Supermarket on Blue Boar Lane on Wednesday (April 5) between 11.30am and 1pm.

Mustard TV's Neil Perry will be putting your questions to the Norwich North MP on Wednesday night.

Questions need to be submitted by 0900 on Monday morning for consideration and please include you name and location.
