Gardening enthusiasts were in for a blooming good time at a plant centre's summer festival this weekend.
The Peter Beales Roses Festival near Attleborough gave visitors the chance to explore its immaculate 1.5 acre garden, enjoy a host of entertainments and peruse the thousands of plants in its shop.
One highlight was an appearance from gardener and television presenter Rachel De Thame, who judged an arch-dressing competition inspired by the Chelsea Flower Show.
It was also a chance for the plant centre to show off its new Wildlife Garden, created by head gardener Vaughn Limmer.
Nursery manager Ian Limmer said the festival, now in its sixth year, keeps getting 'bigger and better' .
'A lot of the stall holders have been coming for five or six years and are happy with the atmosphere that there is. It is not too big and there is plenty for people to see,' he said.
Among the entertainments across the weekend were musical interludes from the Bridgham and Harling Band, birds of prey displays, a collection of classic motorbikes owned by staff, and a working model of a Burrell agricultural engine.
