Two people had to be rescued when their jet ski broke down off the Norfolk coast.
The pair had left Sea Palling about 2.30pm on Wednesday (July 19) and Happisburgh RNLI Lifeboat Station volunteers were called to help at 3.15pm after reports the jet ski had broken down off the coast at Waxham, drifting out to sea.
The lifeboat Howard Bell, manned by Martin Gibbs, Sam Gillard and Martin Gibbs, was tasked by the Coastguard to search from Sea Palling towards Winterton.
When the lifeboat arrived off Waxham the Coastguard, from Winterton, could see the jet ski from the top of the sand dunes, so they were able to guide the crew to the jet ski, which was now one mile off the coast.
Both people on the jet ski were uninjured, so the jet ski was towed to Sea Palling, where they were looked after by lifeguards.
Happisburgh RNLI was again called to the rescue hours later at 6.46pm after two people had tried to launch a river boat off the beach there, and it had swamped.
The lifeboat was not launched but the crew went to the aid of the two men and helped recover the boat from the sea.
