Crowds flocked around Jack Goodacre in August 2016 as the young boy took to the streets of Norwich to sing his heart out.
The 11-year-old, who hails from Eccles near Attleborough, performed some of his favourite songs alongside his dad Tim Goodacre.
At the time he hoped to take after his dad, who works as a singer/songwriter and music producer.
Now the young talent has managed to secure a starring role as Zack Mooneyham in Andrew Lloyd Webber's West End adaptation of School of Rock.
Jack said: 'I couldn't believe they chose me as there were thousands of great musicians at the audition, but now I get to play guitar, sing and act every night to sold out audiences - it's like a dream!'
As well as performing, Jack is also recording his debut EP and working with Gibson Guitars.
School of Rock was recently voted Best New Musical at London's What's On Stage Awards and won an Olivier Award.
