A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash in south Norfolk.

Police were called to Church Road in Tasburgh at 6.40am today after reports a motorcyclist had crashed into parked car.

The East of England Ambulance Service sent two ambulance crews to the scene treated a man in his 20s who had a suspected broken leg and arm. A spokesperson for Norfolk police said the injuries were serious.

He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The road was closed in both directions for a number of hours while emergency services dealt with the incident but has now reopened.
